Beyoncé Knowles-Carter may be ́isthemostthankfulmusicianfollowedbyVictoriaMonéone of the most influential entertainers of our time, but she is also the most thankful musician, according to a new study.
An analysis conducted by MoneySuperMarket Life Insurance examined the how often winners used words such as “thank you,” “grateful,” and “honored” during Grammy and Oscar acceptance speeches, as well as the number of people they thanked.
The study found that Queen Bey topped the list as the most thankful musician. According the the findings, the "Ya Ya" singer used 11 words of thanks for every 100 words spoken in her winning speeches.
Put simply, the study says Beyoncé tends to gives thanks every 9.1 words.
Victoria Monét, who took home her first Grammy this year for best new artist, ranked second on that list. The study showed the singer used 10.5 words of thanks for every 100 words spoken.
Other musicians to make the list included Cody Johnson, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, who ranked No. 10.
The study also found Tim Robbins to be the most thankful actor with Viola Davis receiving the second-most-thankful slot.
It was back in February that Jay-Z called out the Recording Academy for snubbing his wife, Beyoncé, during his acceptance speech for the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the Grammys.
Some fans argued that despite the superstar being the most decorated artist in Grammy history, she has never took home the night's most prestigious award for album of the year, which many felt she deserved throughout her extensive career.
Most recently, the "Ya Ya" singer released her highly acclaimed album "Cowboy Carter," which has already made history and broken multiple records. And in the midst of all of her success, it's clear the superstar is careful to show gratitude and give others their flowers.
